Almost 17 years ago, that was early in the morning, there was a child sitting in a table (with a stick of match in her mouth, sipping its carbon) while watching those children climbing in a Guava Tree. Her papa came and said, “I have to go now so be a good girl.” And so she nodded. (it’s her papa’s day shift of duty again)
She has the greatest parents ever –a tough father and a sweet, disciplinarian but kinda tactless, high-tempered mother.
As usual all housemates were busy so she got out from that open kitchen…. She noticed a dying dragonfly on the garden and tried to touch it when somebody said, “ Don’t worry… Angel gonna save her…”.
She remained in silence- recalling the day when she tried to escape from evil and her soul yelled for an angle’s help but nobody came… That’s the worst day of her life…
She touched the dragonfly's wings carefully… ‘rubbed it gently… Then another kid asked, “Do you believe in angels too?” And, she answered, “ ..angels don’t save.”
I’m not writing this just because I have a story to tell nor to imply something against angels for I do believe in angels too… Angels are those children… They need our attention and affection…
They might be victims of crime that parents didn't notice for being so busy… They might wanted to tell something but were just taken for granted… They were just ignored…“..some victims are able to express their feelings without difficulty. Others who appear to be emotionally calm may be masking feelings that later erupt in a delayed reaction.”

Anyway, since blogger was acting up again, I will try my best to recall the comment I posted.
Hmmm. Yup, you are right about kids and how we should guard their feelings. I've read somewhere that kids tend to repeat traumatic events from childhood when they reach their adult life. So an abused child might be an abusive father when he grows up. A sad and honest account of a broken youth can be heard in Michael Jackson's "Childhood", and look at how he turned out.
Anyway, I believe in angels though. It's probably why my two favorite songs are Robbie Williams' "Angels" and Sarah Maclachlan's "Angel" even if they hint on drug use rather than the spirit guardians.

Yah... and it would be too hard for them to move on and proceed to a right path especially when they won't explore and get better judgement...
